CRED has announced Sovereign, an invite-only private society for India’s most influential and discerning individuals. Designed for those who have crossed the threshold of wealth, Sovereign offers privileges that connect members to global culture, influence, and experiences. 

A Modern Credential, Etched in Gold

Every Sovereign is entrusted with a bespoke credential: a credit card, that will be issued in partnership with IndusInd Bank and powered by RuPay EKAA. 

The card begins as a solid sheet of 18-karat gold, hallmarked BIS 750. Its surface is engraved with guilloché: a centuries-old decorative technique found on Fabergé eggs, Roman friezes, watch dials, and banknotes. Overlaid with a waffle texture, it creates Moiré d’Or, a surface that shimmers like dawn over gold.

Each card is crafted only after an individual is invited to become a Sovereign. The member’s name is diamond-engraved onto the metal, making ornament and ownership inseparable.
