CRED has launched a new app - Cash by CRED - that enables the creditworthy to build positive credit behaviour. By bringing together credit score checks, a loan calculator, and affordability analysis into a single, clean platform, Cash by CRED is aimed at improving Indians’ relationship with credit.
Many responsible Indians are wary of taking on credit due to aggressive and opaque lending practices. Cash by CRED, which is available to everyone, not just CRED members, takes a different approach to create a comfortable credit experience and build prudent habits.
Cash by CRED analyses spending patterns to evaluate monthly surplus and show users the EMIs they can afford without financial stress. It clearly outlines interest obligations, charges, and fees to ensure users know exactly what they can afford, before offering them a loan if eligible.
By bringing these features together and communicating relevant details upfront, Cash by CRED enables users to borrow responsibly, ease their repayment obligation, and build a strong credit record.
Kunal Shah, founder, CRED, said, “Cash by CRED is an extension of our mission to enable financial progress for the creditworthy, by creating pathways for responsible borrowing and repayment habits. With transparency, context, and awareness, the app enables better credit behaviour and creates a high-trust credit ecosystem.”
Cash by CRED is available for download on Android.
